I remember as a young mom waiting the anticipation of the day I would be honored by my children and husband.  I was never disappointed.  Breakfast in bed was the best.  Then we would get dressed and we would either go to the city or walk around a local downtown and  the two would somehow get into a spat about what I would like..as if I wasn't even standing there. Those were the good old days. Remember and cherish your family traditions.

Transition Update!

Just a quick update to show you all how our transition is coming along.  Our first shipment of clothing arrived yesterday just in time for Thursday, March 15th...Our Spring Fling...Girls Night Out... Be sure to stop by for lite bites and refreshments.  As always we are offering awesome deals for the event!  Be sure to bring a lightly used item of clothing to give to our La Grange/pillarscommunity.org.  for the Women's shelter.  You will receive a 20% savings on any one-new item in the boutique.

Boutique Transition Now in Progress

We are so, so excited to start our transition today.
Within just a few short weeks we will have our accessory boutique transformed into an amazing
full accessory and fashion clothing boutique with many new finds from our visit to our last fashion market in Las Vegas!

Spring/Summer collection of tops, jeans, patio dresses and slacks. My only disappointment so far is my very cool clothing displays are backordered until mid-June as well as our new set of display tables.  Ugh!  Nothing ever goes completely as planned. "That's life" they say!  We will just have to overlook that and get a few temporary ones in the mean time.  They're gorgeous and we think they are worth the wait! So please overlook the temporaries.

New spring accessories are coming in daily.  We could hardly keep up with the computer work...You all know how much we love that *&!* computer! Stop in soon!

Pearls on a string! The Tahititan variety that is.

Love, love, love these pearls.  I seem to never get enough of any uniquely shaped pearl these days. Nothing against the perfect and oh so very expensive ones that come in the little red box but I much prefer the variety, color, luster and pear shape of a Tahitian pearl. Thing is I really disliked pearls until about 2 years ago.  After finding this new love I find it hard to resist purchasing the many color and sizes they come in. I'm addicted to working with them. I am obsessed! Oh well, I think I will just go with it for now. 


Check out the 16mm Tahitian pearls I put on the antiqued brown leather.  By the way I drilled the large holes (1.6mm) myself!  Another fun endeavor and technique I have acquired!
